Nearly Famous Deli & Pasta House

Mom & I love this place. Food is wonderful & service is great. Recently remodeled. Nice atmosphere. My favorite is the tomato soup & Mom lives the quiche.

Pricey, but really good food.

Went here for lunch, and ordered the chicken alfresco lunch special. Pasta was undercooked, there was a lot of fresh basil, but there were five pieces of chicken in the whole dish that were smaller in diameter than a penny. Canned tomatoes. A roll so tough I couldn’t eat it. The waitress was detached and unfriendly. Terrible experience. Save your money and go somewhere with an enjoyable experience and good food.

QUISCH IS WONDERFUL

Very popular for a good reason. The food is outstanding. Recently lunched on crab & shrimp quiche with a beautiful salad and roll. Every bite makes you want another.

Nice lunch spot. The salads are really good and the chili is delicious. Grilled cheese and tomato soup is a staple, a must try. Service is always good and it is a clean place.

Again with 5 stars I'm amazing myself. Our waiter never let our drinks get low. Food was to die for nothing unusual just great food and service.

Wait staff is friendly. Food is consistent. If you their salad dressing you are in great shape. Menu doesn't change but can't really say the consistent element is a high point. But you always know what you'll get

Nearly Famous is a great, locally owned choice for lunch. Friendly service and good variety on the menu. The interior is quiet and relaxed. They tend to showcase local artists on their wall space which I enjoy.

Visiting my Mom from PA, she took me here for lunch. Had the grilled cheese and chicken noodle soup. Delicious, felt like mom made it. Owner and server, Ryan, attended and hung out a bit to chat about current collection of art. They have a wait list that rotates every two years for up and coming artists to be showcased. Check this place out. 😊

I had an issue where chicken was left off of a takeout salad and it appears that they refunded the full price of the salad after I called in. They took my number and told me I would be contacted and I wasn’t but noticed on my credit card statement that the charges were voided. I was just looking for a refund for the chicken up-charge so that is respectable. I was charged a $1.50 fee for not paying cash. I understand the effects of credit card fees to restaurants’ margins, however I wasn’t informed of the fee prior to them running the transaction and would have happily paid cash had I been informed of the fee. I was refunded for the full transaction and appreciate that. I do think that if someone hands them a credit card they should be informed of the credit card fee so the patron has the option to pay cash if they want and avoid the unspoken up charge.

Always great food in a full meal deal way. The wed. Seafood salad lunch special is divine. The chx parm (an evening only dish) is especially delicious. I eat here often.

First time here...I love it! Had a fresh and delightful lunch with family. Very nice ambience... neighborly and cozy.

It was def off today, the energy and the food was not the best I've had there.

The food was good. Portion size was average except for the potato salad that I paid extra for. Didnt like the no cash fee of 1.25 you are charged when using your credit/debit card.

Awesome food and fantastic service! Not only do my husband and I dine frequently, I bring in clients as much as I can. I love when the servers recognize me, and Nancy is a hoot! Makes you feel small town in a bigger city. The menu is diverse, the salad incredible and the quiche is to die for! I have brought family here from out of town and Nancy always makes a special effort to make them feel welcome. Just wonderful!

One of the best places to get good pasta, salads, and soups in town, they also offer some really good dessert options. I love eating here, and the sandwiches are great as well. The only downside is that when they are busy it feels crowded and the building gets kinda loud making conversation over a meal hard to achieve. That keeps it from getting 5 stars with me. But the food is fantastic, the service is top notch, and I still eat here with friends and on dates because the food is so good, and often times you get lucky and they aren't crowded as long as you avoid weekends.

My favorite lunch and dinner spot in town. Love the turkey croissant sandwich and deli tomato soup for lunch and then the spaghetti marinara for dinner! I’ve had several birthday dinners here. Love the owner and the staff!!

My husband and I live in the neighborhood and love Nearly Famous. If you get tired of everyplace tasting the same, then come here. We have our fav menu items and usually order them over and over. Nancy is a hardworking conscientious owner but will not allow her business to be taken advantage of and we can appreciate that. It's a unique personal restaurant and it definitely has its fan club!!!

Favorite place to eat when I come in town. Awesome food with wide variety to pick from and service is fantastic!

Was very disappointed in the food and service. The food did not have much flavor. My boyfriend ordered soup and the waitress brought him a salad, normally not an issue, simple mistake. The waitresses tone when she told him that she wrote down salad was almost as if accusing him of lying. There are too many good italian restaurants in town to waste your money here.

Food is quite good. Some Springfield classics on this menu. Many local artists get to showcase their work on the walls. I think the prices are a little high for the menu...but I still like my dining experiences everytime I go. The deli tomato soup is a must try.

Nearly famous always has fast courteous and thoughtful wait staff, and excellent Cooks. I enjoyed my BLT with crispy bacon today, and the fresh fruit plate was wonderful!

There is so much I'd like to say about Nearly Famous. First off the woman that greats you at the door is one of my favourite people. I look forward to seeing her every time I come in. She always remembers me, greats me with a smile, on top of things, and always on point with her service. Secondly the food is delicious. I particularly like the pear sandwhich. Thirdly, the atmosphere is so fun. I feel like I'm in a real life Friends episode. Thanks for being unique and 100% every time.
